Art Highlight
Watercolor paintings are some of my favorite paintings because of the life, lightness and movement that they depict. Liu Yunsheng painted these portraits of Tibetan kids and elderly individuals. The lifelike paintings are simply stunning. I especially like how he captured the energy and vitality of the individuals. I look at the kids here and am reminded of the similar mischievous look on my little one’s face. The weathered face of the older gentleman reminds me of my own grandfather. It is no wonder that he won the Watercolor Gold awards a few times. Here are a few favorite paintings:
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…relaxing and recovering. The little one was hospitalized for a few days because of a viral infection and dehydration. Luckily, she took well to the fluids and we were able to fly back home and let her settle in again at home. We won’t take her to her usual activities but may go to the museum or do something low key. Vacations with a little one are a whole other ballgame! #traumatizedbyvacation
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!
So sorry to hear about your little. Those are always scary situations. Hope she is on the mend!
These paintings are amazing – I thought they were photos at first!
Hope your little one is feeling better!
Those paintings are beautiful! He is an amazing painter 🙂
Those are gorgeous pieces of art. They look so real.
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your daughter. With all the germs around, their systems can’t handle everything. They’re still developing. Hope she feels better soon.
