Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.
Are you a planner or a free spirit?
I’m definitely much more happy when I have a distinct plan in place. Then I know what lies ahead of me, what I’m doing, and how I can fit in other things that come my way. Of course, sometimes the best laid plans just don’t happen (especially with kids!) One of our first trips with the little one was to Tokyo. I had a fabulous list of the best ramen restaurants, kid friendly sites like the Asakusa temple, and the must-see bars in town, like of course the famous rooftop bar in “Lost in Translation”. When we arrived there, the weather was terrible! Heavy rains pelted us and the winds were fierce. This is also on top of the fact that the hotel didn’t have our reservation (online travel agencies don’t always work out!) We ended up staying at two hotels in different parts of town, but made the most of it. Luckily, I was within walking distance of the famous bar and we had so much fun discovering different restaurants around town.
Sometimes life takes its own course. Breath. Go with the flow. Let life take you where it will!
Have a lovely weekend!

Wow, honestly, she looks almost completely different. I love the natural makeup look here. Beautiful editorial and comfy clothing.
October Moments
I’m definitely a planner by nature but to be able to just let it go and roll with things when the unexpected happens can really lead to good things you wouldn’t haven’t anticipated like you did on that trip to Tokyo.

Wow I almost prefer her this way. She looks so stunning…less is more right?
Life does seem to like to go its own way… 🙂
Gah! I honestly had no clue that was Eva! She looks completely different!
xx
I am definitely a planner and need to learn to be more “go with the flow.” Sometimes, things end up working out just as well or even better that way!
I loved this!! (I also work for TSE, so I’m especially loving that shot where she’s wearing our sweater!)

I use to be so rigid. I plan, but now I don’t come undone when things don’t work out. So good for you.
