Natural Beauty DIY: DIY Pore Minimizing Yogurt Cucumber Mask

June 5, 2013

When I think of cucumber and yogurt, I initially think “Mmm, tzatziki/raita!”

But now I see these ingredients in a whole different light. I was inspired by blogger buddy Elle to really think about the ingredients in my skincare and to consider the beneficial properties of products I may already have at home.   This mask is also perfect for spring/summer as we are out and about more – our skin needs to look its best now!

I’ve done a lot of research now on natural ingredients and started to accumulate a few new ingredients that I will be both be consuming and using for skincare (mmm, coconut oil!) This gives a whole new dimension to “You are what you eat”! But more importantly, I am happy because I know exactly what I am using in my skincare. I’m researching and developing more recipes and will share them as well!

Elly, I know – it’s surprising right, but really quite easy to make and use. I did feel like my skin was a bit cooler and more taut after using it. Just be sure to wash it thoroughly!
