I’m a New Yorker through and through and yet, this is one of the few times I’m glad I’m not in NYC. Ā The snow seems to keep coming down this season and I can only imagine my friends in the Northeast can’t wait for those first buds of spring.
Yet, there are still beautiful things available, even in frigid weather. Ā I saw these frozen bubble photographs by Angela Kelly though and was reminded of beauty even in the least ideal conditions.

Otherwise this weekend I am…
…visiting a lawyer with my husband so that we can plan for the future. Ā We know that anything can happen at any time so we are getting our affairs in order in case anything ever happens to us. Ā It sounds a bit morbid, but is one of these necessary parts of adulthood I guess right? Ā We just want our assets to be directed to the right places. Ā It is a bit scary to think about, but we would rather be prepared. Ā On a lighter note, we will of course also see a few friends for a few meals. Ā We hope to go to one of our favorite Italian restaurants and treat a few friends whose wedding we missed. Their wedding was in Bangkok and I just know it was a fun party!

Our weekend is lots of prep for going to Bali and trying to get ahead on work projects so that it will actually be a vacation…
As for your lawyer visit- it makes perfect sense to me — all part of being a grown up!

Regarding the lawyer situation, I think itās just one of those things that you have to doāall apart of adulthood.
