Met Gala Party Pictures

If you took a peek at a fashion related website this week, you probably already saw a peek of the Met Gala that took place earlier this week.  Sure we’ve all seen the standout images like Beyonce’s latex gown and Selena Gomez’s combat boots to Lupita’s stellar hair.  But I also liked looking at the images at the party itself or when celebrities had quieter moments with the camera.  Wives held onto husbands to delicately step over their dresses, friends leaned on one another, and yes celebrities still posed, but it was a bit more intimate than the staircase pose (though there is no lack of drama in Zoe Saldana’s gown below).

Otherwise this weekend I am…

…doing the usual in terms of shopping and seeing a friend or two.  But we also met this adorable 4 year-old boy at our condo complex last weekend who asked to play with my little lady at the swimming pool.  Even though he is a few years older than her, they had a lot of fun frolicking in the pool.  His mom and I traded contact information and they will hopefully have a swim date tomorrow.  It should be fun and of course we’ll chaperone this little swim date.  Mother’s Day is also this weekend which means my husband has to do all the cooking for one day.  Hmm, I think that prosciutto will be involved…yum. #helovescookingthatinvolvesnocooking
