Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Animal Soul balloon creatures by Jason Hackenwerth
Kids love balloons. These puffy shapes just bring such joy and wonder. I love how balloons can also be crafted into such interesting shapes now too; I’ve see anything from balloon baby rattles to astronauts. These Animal Soul balloon creatures by Jason Hackenwerth were part of an installation called Animal Soul. He designed these wearable “Megamite” costumes as fantastical creatures. The costumes were fittingly worn by professional dancers and made for such a striking look. Fashion can definitely be fun!
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…going to try to recover from attending two kiddy birthday parties. There are so many July birthdays and the month isn’t even over yet! We’ll do a little party recovery Sunday and do our new favorite family activity – swimming. I’m finally taking advantage of our community pool and loving it!
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
I can’t imagine how much work goes into those balloon creations! And so sad they will just deflate.
Chic on the Cheap
Wow these have to be some of the most impressive balloon creations I’ve ever seen! II had heard about this and now I’m kicking myself for not making it down to Brookfield Place to catch it.
I have never seen such beautiful balloons creations! And I get you about birthday parties, it takes a lot out of us!
