I’ll admit it – I’m a total newbie to the fame Nordstrom Anniversary sale. Ā After seeing a few people mention it, I figured I should check it out. My conclusion – the sale is definitely worth a look. For a limited time each year, a selection of popular items is on sale for a few weeks. Ā After the sale, items return to their normal retail prices. Ā But, some things sell out quickly as well with no guarantee of returning. Put theĀ Tom Ford Iris eye and lip setĀ on your wishlist because it’s a great price (I definitely would have signed up for a card and gotten this!) Ā Nordstrom cardholders must have gotten all the Tom Ford because they have early access until July 19; the sale is open to the public from July 20 – August 5. Ā I don’t have a card, but will patiently wait and add these lovelies to my cart next week. Ā I honestly would have considered getting the card for theĀ Tom Ford Iris setĀ and Diptyque set. This is such a pretty starter set, but more importantly has good quality brushes
2. Cole Haan GrandPro Spectator Scalloped Slip-On Sneaker, Nordstrom, $99.90 (from $150)
I’ve been drawn to chic sneakers and this soft color and rose gold detail in back fit the bill!
3. Leith Faux Leather & Glen Plaid Baker Boy Hat, Nordstrom, $18.90 (from $29)
I love hats and a cap in a cute print is the perfect accessory.
4. Yves Saint Laurent Pink Lip Set, Nordstrom, $74
YSL lipsticks are not only beautiful, but have good staying power. Ā This set is a bit over the cost of two lipsticks so why not try a third lipstick for $1 right?
5. Steve Madden Brinkley Over the Knee Stretch Boot, Nordstrom, $86.90 (from $129.95)
These classic boots look like a great everyday boot

I was looking at the Luxie brush sets, too. I’ve already placed a small order and amd trying not to repeat. We will see how that goes since the sale is on until 8/5/ ;p
