“Elegance is not the prerogative of those who have just escaped from adolescence, but of those who have already taken possession of their future.”

How has your style evolved through the years?
How has your style evolved through the years?
When I was in my teens and 20s, my style was feminine and casual. I loved polo shirts, silk sweater sets in my early work years, and wide leg pants. I’d rock flared jeans and a myriad of cardigans during the weekend. I slowly transitioned into my style now which is casual femininity. I adore shift dresses, draped silhouettes, and fitted sweater knits. I just love easy, but fitted (not tight) shapes that make me feel elegant and feminine. It’s the style that I’ve evolved into and can say comfortably own.
I love Coco’s quote that elegance isn’t necessarily a result of someone just exiting from awkward youth, but someone who has taken possession of her future. It is someone who is comfortable in her own skin, self assured, and happy with what she is and assured about what kind of person she is becoming. I’d like to think that I have my own kind of elegance now. I’m a mom, an entrepreneur, and a global citizen self assured that I will do everything I can to make my future bright.
Take possession of your future and remain elegant!
Have a lovely week!
These photos are absolutely exquisite. I love the simplicity! My style has become a lot more simple and no fuss. It works for me.

Coco Chanel was just so wise. I cringe at some of the things I wore as a teen and college student but one thing that has been consistent in my style has always been modesty.
Amazing shooting!
Have a lovely week 🙂
