What is your style when you travel?? I saw this editorial ofĀ Morgane Dubled for Elle France March 2018 and thought of all the different styles people adopt when they travel. Ā Some people throw on a big coat and comfortable boyfriend jeans. Ā Others opt for chic sweats. I stay pretty true to my style and will wear a loose top, cashmere/silk shawl and/or jacket (if my destination is quite cold and I want both right away!), and easy black leggings. I’ll pack quite a a few dresses and easy, wrinkle free separates. Ā I’ll make sure my purse is an easy crossbody bag that can fit the kid’s things easily and also pack all my things in a backpack. Ā In addition, I’ll always bring a snack bag of varying size for my babies of all sizes lol. Ā I try to minimize the number of bags, especially because I’m carrying all of the kids’ things. Ā Everything goes on top of a spinner (4 wheeled suitcase) and I’m good to go.
Of course, family travel is still chaotic so I may inevitably forget something. Ā I left my backpack in the Hirosaki train station for a few minutes and only realized it as we were pulling luggage out of the cab! Ā Always count your bags and of course stay comfortable and stylish! Luckily all my things made it to Tokyo and the adventure continues!

I love how they captured the intrepid spirit in this editorial. Who’s the photographer? I’m definitely all about comfy athlesiure when I travel and my go to outfit usually consists of a t-shirt, sweatpants, slip-on sneakers topped with a blazer and a scarf. A scar if a must š

I don’t travel often but I always wear things comfortable (but not too ugly) and socks. A crossbody bag is a must for me as well.
