Ā I still remember a quote from a favorite novel, The AlchemistĀ by Paulo Coelho, that talked about how one should always pursue her dreams – Ć¢ā¬ÅAnd, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.Ć¢ā¬Ā
LitographsĀ lets us remember our favorite books by combining the text from famous pieces with designs that represent those works. Ā A litograph takes approximately the first two-thirds of a book and designs the text into a tell tale image of the book that is printed on quality bond paper. Ā In addition, the company is a strong proponent of literacy and has partnered with the International Book Bank to give a book to child in need for each poster sold. Ā The posters are priced very well at under $50 for a 24″ x 36″ size and are made to order.
Fun design, a famous book, and a charitable cause – what’s not to love?
I was immediately drawn toĀ A Little Princess andĀ Les Mis, but ultimately decided on Peter PanĀ and was sent a print for my review. Ā It immediately brought me back to the beauty of the book and I loved trying to find famous pieces of the text. Ā I hope to have it in a child’s room some day and have it as a reminder of the joys of being a kid. TheseĀ prints would be great in a home office, living room, or child’s room and make for great statement pieces. Ā They would also make for fabulous gifts as well.
