Laura Apsit Livens decorated hats
I adore hats of many different shapes, sizes, and designs. My favorite type of hat is a simple fedora, but I have a few great skullcaps and newsboy caps for winter as well. I was completely smitten with Laura Apsit Livens decorated hats when I first spotted them. She transforms colored felt hats with a splash of color and modern shapes. It reminds me of a touch of Picasso and Marie Antoinette.
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…going to have some friends over for a pool date. We are lucky to have access to great facilities like a cool pool and kiddie pool. I’ll probably fix some simple treats like Filipino BBQ, fried rice, and some kind of vegetable for the kids. It should be fun! #gottagetbackintobikinshape

I don’t usually wear hats, don’t know why but it’s just not my thing I guess. That said, I love how bright and unique these hats are, the designs really make each of it pop.

Perks of living in a land of eternal summer are pool parties all year too! I’ll be heading to NYC in the winter too though, but will hopefully get to see the tree at Rockefeller!
