I’ve gone through several major transitions in the last few years. Ā I’ve switched countries, jobs/careers, and gained a husband and daughter along the way. Ā Phew – I guess that’s a lot huh? I was also going through a few struggles at certain points as well. Ā I wanted to redefine and open up new paths for myself. Ā It was difficult being stuck in one place for a while and then trying to convince other people that I could do something. Ā As a result, I felt that I wasn’t able to break through and create a new act for myself.
I thought this famous quote and editorial were very interesting. I was instantly reminded of movie sets when I saw these pictures of Bella Hadid for W Magazine October 2016. The over the top, funky settings bring to mind a Wes Anderson set. Many of the characters in his movies seem to be stuck. Ā But I would like to think that we all go through different stages and paths. Ā It may be difficult for us to reach the right path. Ā However, our path is out there. Ā I may return to a former act. Ā Some day I’ll find a new one again too.
She is simply stunning to me. Such a great editorial that plays off her features well, too.
