I have quite a few trips planned in October. We’re heading to the Maldives and Philippines so it will be nice and warm in these lands of eternal summer. I’m making a few final purchases, especially for our big Maldives trip. I’m so excited to go on our chicest beach vacation yet. So my Wish List – September 2016 still reflects my wish to get a few beautiful, flowy pieces to wear/use on our vacation.
Wish List – September 2016
1. Rifle Paper Co. Garance Dore Assorted Greeting Cards, Shopbop, $18
I’ll always have a soft spot for lovely stationary. I still try to hand write thank you cards and these cards are a lovely modern option.
2. Flynn Skye wrap it skirt, Shopbop, $110.60 (from $158)
This skirt is elegant, yet sexy and comes in such a beautiful shade. I’d happily wear this in cooler weather too.
3. Lilly Pulitzer chai caftan, 6pm.com, $130.99 (from $238)
I like that this caftan comes in a darker shade making it easier to transition from day to night.
4. H&M 4 pack bracelets, H&M, $2.99 (from $5.99)
H&M has some winners sometimes and this pack of bracelets would be great fun for the little one.
5. K. Jacques Timor wedge sandals, Shopbop, $240 (from $300)
Wedges are a must for summer and fall days. How else can you walk through grass and sand?
Last but not least, I’ve been hunting for a Gathre mat for a while and am bummed that mint and flax mats are sold out! These leather bonded mats are easy to clean and perfect as a tablecloth, play mat, beach mat, and picnic blanket. These gorgeous mint and gray colors are the icing on the cake. I envision using them under my daughter’s high chair, on a tablecloth for a party, as well as for the beach. These are home pieces that would really last for a while.
