“We cannot choose the day or time when we will fully bloom. It happens in its own time.”
Denis Waitley
Are you patient person? Unfortunately, I’m not really a patient person. I saw these pictures which reminded me of the season and being in bloom via Glamour Italia April 2016.
I already think of spring as a season for renewal – a second chance at doing things right for the coming year. Sometimes we know what we want and try to make progress towards our goals. Perhaps you are transitioning towards a new career or starting a new business. Maybe you have been making those connections and doing well, but aren’t quite there yet. You’ve been working in the area for years and wonder what’s next. How long does it take for you to come into your own? How long will it be before you are successful on your own terms?
I’ve been thinking about this lately as I see myself surrounded by entrepreneurs, friends who have made career switches, and friend who have done amazingly well through a combination of timing and networks. The rest of us may think “When will it be my time?” But this quote above reminded me that if we keep on the path, we will also come into our own as well. We may not be able to understand the timing, but we’ll get there, bloom, and become the best version of ourselves.
Have a lovely week!
The colors of this collection are absolutely stunning!
Gosh this editorial is pretty! And the models look like twins or maybe I’m seeing things. I’m patient when it comes to certain things like waiting for things to go on sale but totally impatient when it comes to other things like waiting at the doctor’s office.
I wasn’t always patient, but it comes with time. Plus it’s less stressful. LOL Things will fall in place for you. I love this photoshoot. The dresses are gorgeous.
