I don’t mind professing my love for Monique Lhuillier (or at least her designs!)
She designed my wedding gown which I wore in both New York and Taiwan. I knew I wanted a gown in the style of her designs – romantic, intricately detailed, and simply beautiful. I really hope that my daughter will get to wear my Monique Lhuillier gown some day (well and my Pronovias one too, you know I loved getting wedding gowns). In the meantime, I would love to decorate her room with Monique Lhuillier and Pottery Barn Kids accessories. The first thing that got me were the gray walls and furniture in the girls room. Gray walls and pink bedding has been on my Pinterest home inspiration board for years. I simply adore how more kids rooms are now done in this shade. I love how it is paired with blush for a classic and soft feel, but can be paired with the navy furniture or accessories for a nautical vibe for a little guy. These look like really great pieces that would transition into the adult years (see a few pieces I would get for my own room!)

The furniture and decor go from a traditional male and female nursery.
Then it graduates to a more nuanced kids room, like Sophia’s room (the dresser and ottoman are pieces that would last a while)…
…or Jack’s room (named after Monique’s own kids).
The playroom though is a favorite room. I adore this Finley table and chairs.
I would buy this settee now and I love the functionality of the trundle (bed that slides out from the bottom).
The ottoman is also a quite sophisticated piece with bone inlay detailing and a chic feel.
Finally, these tutus are the stuff of fairy closets – love them!
OMG the ballet-esque room is killing me – obsessed!

I love the inspiration here from the Monique Lhuillier/Pottery Barn collection. It’s really charming. I already use some of PT pieces and have a new client that’s a new mum, so I have been looking at a ton of children’s inspiration. Thanks!

What a fabulous collaboration! I love Pottery Barn. I just purchased a bed from there (adult one of course LOL). But pottery barn kids is exquisite. If I had children, that is where I would purchase things from. Have you heard of Restoration Hardware? They have a teen, child & baby website. It even tops Pottery Barn, but the prices are HIGH.
