Have you seen Pantone’s colors of the year yet?
I love how this year’s color(s!) – rose quartz and serenity – are soft, light, and perfect for spring. Rose quartz is a light, soft pink – one of the colors of early dusk on a warm summer day. Serenity is truly serene and reminds me of a beautiful sky on a cool day. Sephora + Pantone Universe celebrate rose quartz and serenity with a few beautiful products and sets. Even the packaging combines both colors in a chic way!
While I’m intrigued by the serenity lipstick and lip gloss, they wouldn’t be my first pick. I love looking at serenity, but when would I wear a blue lipstick? For some reason, I’m more intrigued by the colors in a lip gloss set which also mimics the colors of a glorious sunset (everything from a tangerine to a lilac are pictured – swoon!) The eyeshadow watercolor palette is pretty comprehensive, but for lighter spring colors – think mint, taupe, and baby blue shades. In any case, the palettes are a really fun set of colors and perfect for the warmer weather.

I’m not feeling the Serenity lip products either but that eye palette is totally gorgeous from the packaging to the eye shadows themselves.
I love the packaging for this collection!
OMG they’ve turned these colors into lipsticks? How did I not know this??

Seriously, this is such a fun collaboration between Pantone and Sephora!
I was just telling another blogger how I like those colors more for fashion than beauty products.
