Once in a while, I am in the middle of web surfing and *bam* I see some pictures that make me stop and appreciate the wonder of nature. While we may be used to the magnificence of a bright summer day and the lilac colors of a lovely sunset, sometimes the scenery can just be extra special. These pictures by Inka and Niclas show the prettiest and craziest powder pink skies and pastel hued rocks. It reminds me that I really need to make an effort to visit places that have unique natural vistas (man the list is long but pink lakes in Australia is high on the list!)
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…enjoying a lovely home cooked dinner courtesy of my husband. This is pretty much an annual tradition reserved for Valentine’s Day and maybe my birthday. He already let it slip that he will try to cook some of our favorite Peruvian dishes including pollo saltado. I think he may try ceviche as well but hope he attempts to cook jalea aka fried seafood too. Yum! I’m just going to sit back and enjoy. Worst comes to worst, I have a freezer full of frozen dumplings and ice cream bars!
