What is your ideal date night?
For me a perfect date night includes great food, great conversation, and a great ambience. So while I enjoy dining out at our favorite, cozy Italian restaurant, I am also perfectly content having a date night at home. Actually every Valentine’s Day, I request that my husband cooks me a meal as opposed to booking us a table at an overpriced restaurant (ahem it’s one of the few times a year he will cook without complaint!) He has been sweet and actually transforms into a chef dishing out delectable morsels like the best salmon trout I’ve ever tasted. He’ll be in the kitchen banging together pots and pans from Calphalon and literally leaving trails of flour or sauce everywhere. I may whip up dessert and use my KitchenAid Ultra Power 4.5 Qt Stand Mixer (seriously this mint color is just plain gorgeous) to create everything from whisky truffles to a tropical carrot cake.
Meanwhile my husband is also the resident DJ setting the mood and will create a great playlist that can be streamed through a SONOS PLAY: 5 Wireless HiFi System. Favorite artists on the playlist include a little D’Angelo, Robin Thicke, and Ed Sheeran.
The perfect way to wind down date night is to relax on the couch together and just chat. I love to really lean back on a few pillows and get comfortable. These trellis pillows are gorgeous and add such a great pop to a sofa,

I’ve never been on a date… That sounds a lot sadder than it actually is! But if I were to go on a date, I’d love a good meal (at somewhere casual so we can stuff our faces) and walking around wherever we are just talking.
Also, one of the things I miss about living in Korea is Target. I can’t even go to the website half the time!

Oh I could do either going out is fun because you get to get dressed up, but staying is nice because it is cozy and easy. That wireless system looks amazing. Just amazing.
