I’m really glad that lace has been resurgent in recent years because I LOVE lace.
I love today’s modern updates on this classic fabric from a touch of lace on a sleek pair of heels to a delicate lace overlay on a fitted dress. Lace is still a a more formal material, but when it is done in the right colors or paired with just the right shape, can be wearable to lots of other events besides garden weddings. I was looking through a few lace options and loved the use of lace for cooler weather as well. I am reminded of a favorite cardigan with a large gorgeous, lace panel across the front. Sweaters and jackets can get pretty drab so it’s great to have a little texture and elegance from a touch of lace.
