It’s fun to incorporate a little drama into makeup.
Drama can be in the form of a bold lip color, a striking eye shadow, or defined eyes.
Liquid lined eyes are a usual part of my makeup routine when I am going out in the evening. I like the extra edge and more defined look of a liquid eyeliner. I had read a few good reviews of Stila’s waterproof eyeliner and definitely wanted to test it out for myself. The product definitely delivers a solid, liquid line that stays put.
I did a little test on my skin and applied the eyeliner before swimming for an hour and it stayed put on my hand and mostly stayed on around my eyes (I did wear goggles though). More importantly, it has stayed on throughout a dinner, cocktails, and a few hours of dancing!

This is a pretty solid product, though I did notice it faltered in particularly humid conditions. Otherwise, this would be great for creating your holiday beauty look!

I reviewed that eyeliner too! I gave it a sweet rating. Stila has excellent eyeliner. I just need to work on my technique of applying it. LOL

Kim, I need to improve my liner application technique too! I can never quite draw the line close enough to my lash line! But Stila eyeliner is pretty sweet – agreed!

Hello my dear! I have tried several water proof eyeliners but I’ve been disappointed because, though not smudging, they tended to break into little black pieces, if you know what I mean! Have you had the same experience with other eyeliners? I’m not talking of drugstore eyeliners, but Mac, Makeup Forever and Urban Decay. I’d love to find a waterproof eyeliner that doesn’t shatter when I make funny faces or laugh wholeheartedly 🙂

Hi Val, ooh I haven’t had the experience with waterproof liner smudging. But my Chanel mascara will do that after I wash it. This Stila eyeliner won’t break into little pieces and has done pretty well without smudging. I’ll likely review Marc Jacobs eyeliner too and will let you know!
