Hope you had a great week lovelies!
Here is what happened at Chic ‘n Cheap Living this week:
– Photo love – Keep moving and don’t stay still!
– Can a lady wear skull, snake, and wolf jewelry/accessories? Sure and here are some great choices
– Hermes la maison furnishings line – scarves brought to life and a nice place to relax on the Left Bank
– J.E.M. Apparel winner and one of my favorite (sometimes vegan recipes) – roasted vegetables with orzo
– DIY photo envelope liners – what a lovely, personal touch!
Here are some worthy reads from blogger buddies and beyond:
– I used to exclusively rock ponytails until sometime after college. Β It’s coming back in the fall/winter 2011/2012 hairstyle trend (via Marc Jacobs)Β – a classic look never goes out of style.
– People of all ages are attending carpentry and other shop classes. Β I remember woodshop class back in the day and think it’d be really cool to be more adept at woodworking (ooh to build a great table!)
– Instagram (another reason I want my iPhone soon) has the coolest features – photo sharing, meeting other users, and turning photos into stickers, mugs, and prints
– Mmm, Ruffled Rose posted these scrumptious looking, semi-healthy cookies (err fruit and oatmeal makes it better right?) and I would love to try these cranberry, pecan, and oatmeal cookies soon!

at my middle school they called wood shop: industrial arts. god i hated that class! i sure wish i payed more attention in art though. i was a science nerd π i’m excited about the pony trend. i’ll never had a sleek one with this hair, but i’ll definitely be rocking a high poofy one!
oh wow, that marc jacobs head piece is really interesting!
Thanks for adding my recipe to your weekly round up. You’re such a gem!

The ponytail coming back means that I will be on trend for a while – my hair usually starts down and ends up being pulled up mid-day! π
Great choice of links. I love the cranberry and pecan combo
I was so excited about the Instagram resources because I use it all the time!
And I agree, I would love to know how to make a table. I’m pretty sure I made the absolute easiest thing there was to make in high school shop class.
ooh woodshop class does sound fun! hope you had a lovely weekend, lady π
I would actually be interested in woodshop class. Not sure how I’ll do though.

Great roundup. I have been dreaming of a woodshop class, and I think it’s time to stop procrastinating. How was your weekend?
That head piece tickles my fancy. I must look into woodshop lessons;-)
Hooray for the ponytail coming back! I’ve always had a soft spot for them π
