Hope you had a great week lovelies!
Here is what happened at Chic ‘n Cheap Living this week:
– If only I could just dance when I go about my day like these gorgeous dancers in Jordan Matter’s photos
– Bride on a budget? Check out my top picks for high street retailers/stores with reasonably priced wedding gowns (and discounts or custom made wedding gowns too)
– Change your skin for the better and enter to win a $150 product from Perricone MD
– Designer Thursday: Funky and fresh Comme des Garçons (woohoo and it’s opening in Singapore!)
– DIY for giant, fun paper flowers
Here are some worthy reads from blogger buddies and beyond:
– Blatant, repeated copyright infringement and labor rights violations are making me rethink ever shopping at Forever 21 again (p.s. I like Trovato a bit and think it’s remarkably uncool that F21 targets smaller designers to copy)
– The White Cube in London has such amazing exhibitions like this Richard Phillips “Most Wanted” show that captures celebrities as the images we see them
Ummmm…I LOVE that collection of stripe cardigans, hello!!!
I had not read hat Forever 21 article and I am with you – how awful and disgusting. I have been considering not buying from them for a while, but this seals the deal!
I think F21 should think of collaborating with designers rather than stealing their designs it is only fair to give them the credit they deserve.
The ice cream sandwich seriously made me laugh out loud. That’s great!
ice cream and bread! i want some 🙂 hope your weekend was great.
Oh my goodness. The ice cream in bread looks kinda . . . horrifying! Surely the bread gets incredibly soggy–eew! 🙂
Love Aishwarya Rai in cover of Vogue,
and Valention studds flat that Anna dello Russo wore 🙂

Love love love the second immage 🙂
What a shame about Forever 21. They actually began right here in my neighborhood (Highland Park, LA).
