Wish List – July 2016

Summer is definitely in full swing!  My wish list – July 2016 is full of tropical inspired gear.  I’ve got the beach on my mind as we plan a trip to the Maldives in October.  It’s totally crazy because I won a stay at a new resort in the Maldives through a social media contest.  Yes, it is TOTALLY possible to win a super cool giveaway prize (I have a cool one for kids coming up too!)

Now I’ve on the hunt for chic beach wear and accessories.  I also brought back a few Lilly Pulitzer for Target pieces (thanks to a few groups and eagle-eyed friends) and am very excited to finally wear them.  I’m also mildly obsessed with Sunny Life floats and got a watermelon and swan one “for my daughter”.  I fret about humid weather and too many mosquitos, but am also reminded that there are so many cool things about summer too!

Wish List – July 2016

1. Parker Albany Ruffle Top, Shopbop, $126 (from $210)

I can’t help it, I am totally obsessed with off the shoulder tops (this top 8 list keep expanding!)  This bright shade and cut are pretty perfect.  I like the tops with the ruffle on the top for a bit of texture and modesty too!

2. Pineapple shot glasses, Domino, $34.99

Is Pinterest getting to me?  Or maybe it’s just the subtle glimpses of these shot glasses here and there on Domino.  Either way, I’ve been thinking about how I can incorporate these into my home.  Obviously they would look great on a bar cart.  Maybe I can use them to hold makeup?  Or maybe they would be fun dessert holders.  I’ll keep rationalizing a few reasons to buy a few sets.

3. Sunnylife Pineapple Candle, Shopbop, $30

I love pineapple motifs in home decor (err, could you tell?)  They are the perfect reminder of cool breezes and tropical nights.  I think they would be such cute hostess gifts as well!

4. Sunnylife ‘Really Big’ Inflatable Ice Cream Pool Floatie, Shopbop, $45

Sunnylife has singlehandedly changed pool floats.  Of course I got the white swan float already, but I really want a whole cute collection.  This ice cream float is definitely next in my collection.  Who wouldn’t want to lie on an ice cream cone?

5. Eberjey Free Spirit Malena Beach Dress, Shopbop, $154

This might be my perfect summer coverup/beach dress.  It’s light, feminine, and beautiful.  I really, really love it!
