Turn on the heat and bring the down comforters out because it’s COLD (at least it is in London). I’m a NYC girl and went to school in the frigid Northeast (land of long slushy winters) so I’m no stranger to cold. Somehow a lifetime living in cold weather still leaves me somewhat unused to cold because I PILE on the sweaters when it’s nippy out.
It’s interesting because there were days right out of college when we would go to parties but leave our coats in the car because we didn’t want to check our coats and look nice when we walked in. The things girls do to look cute.
Speaking of having to look cute, I’m invited to a winter wedding in a few months at this place.
I’m definitely inspired to get sequined pieces for winter events!
never too many sequins!! i am in the market for a cute sequin jacket 🙂
CNC – you should consider a career as a stylist. Honestly, I’m coming to you next time I’m stuck on an outfit. Love those sequins.
Don’t you find London cold different from east coast cold….more damp…(plus everything is centrally heated in North America)?
i second the comment on the crazy things girls do to be “cute.” Goosebumps and blue fingers aren’t pretty!
(though, i gotta admit, i have committed these crazy acts…)
i love the sequins! now if the dress was sequined too, maybe that would be too much but i’d probably still love it 🙂
One can never have too many sequins, if you ask me. Now please can I have that jacket? Hea-ven! 🙂
That venue looks amazing and I have to agree with the others, you can never have too many sequins.
You know, those sequins look awesome, but for a wedding I feel like they’re too glitzy.
Still, for a winter wedding, tights and a huge cashmere jacket are a MUST
i agree with HMH! never too many sequins. well i guess some people could possible go overboard but you have it down girl 🙂
Seriously, I will demand fabulously overdressed ladies (and gents!) at my wedding. Yay for the opaques!
