I decided to change it up a little and start posting some favorite outfits for an imaginary role or person. Yes, it’s still raining and I’m bored. At least i wanted to share some of my cool online window shopping exploits. Do send suggestions for a future post!
I live just up the road from a girl’s school with the head mistress’ name emblazoned on the plaque on the front door. Oooh, what a job! I’m thinking a headmistress needs eternal patience, an empathetic and firm authority, and the ability to adapt to happy/sad/frustrated/sick/moody kids. I wholeheartedly admire teachers and administrators for their dedication and thankless work.
So here’s the kind of thing I’d wear to highlight my empathetic and firm authority:
Mackage Analisa – this coat definitely states “I’m in charge buster, you better put your gum in the wastebasket!”Salvatore Ferragamo Gilia shoes – conservative and still funChloe Sally bag – elegant and all businessFinally, a dress named after said profession –Nanette Lepore “Headmistress” shirt dress – comfortable, practical, and no fussWhat do you think? Would you listen to me when I tell you to sit down while wearing this outfit?
Ok, I know, chic but not exactly cheap choices. Though like a responsible headmistress I’d wait for sales when buying these items or go on eBay (yes I’ve seen Mackage there)!
I just adore that coat… fantastic silhouette. Thanks so much for visiting my blog, btw! I’m bookmarking yours for more visits 😉
That Chloe bag is le sigh!
haha…Certainly empathetic and firm authority selection you have going here!
i am in love w/ the chloe bag. time to buy a lotto ticket 😉

amazing!
I would wear that bag every day… headmistress or not. So gorgeous.
