It’s raining, it’s pouring, and I need pretty images that will make me forget that my Nanette Lepore skirt is completely soaked.
So you know I’m married already and loved my wedding gowns. Â My Monique Lhuillier and Pronovias gowns still give me butterflies. Â But I can’t help sneaking a peek at new wedding gown designs if they’re in the fashion section of magazines I read already right?
I also wanted to highlight these gowns because each is breathtaking and exhibits workmanship typical of the designer,  It is up to you how much or how little you’d want to spend on a wedding gown.  But it’s always good to be aware of styles that make your heart sing.  You can always stalk it at sample sales, trunk shoes, bridal resale sites (Preowned Wedding Dresses – they have new dresses too!) and auction sites (eBay).  Or try to recreate something similar with a good tailor or designer (via Etsy or a local resource).
Be both savvy and styling!
Marchesa is known for its intricate details and unabashedly feminine styling, this dress is a silk organza dream.
Angel Sanchez has always exhibited contemporary, architectural silhouettes with extraordinary fabrics.
Vera Wang, the queen of wedding gown designers is known for luxurious fabrics shaped into flattering and sometimes fantastical silhouettes.

The Marchesa and Vera Wang are gorgeous!
The gown by Oscar De La Renta is dreamy and so elegant! Kisses, darling
ps: I am hosting a sweet necklace GIVEAWAY, later today 🙂 … Please, join in!
I’m not one for traditional wedding gowns, so I love the Angel Sanchez one. If/when I get married, I imagine I’ll wear something Grecian and flowy but not very “wedding dress like.” Or maybe just the prettiest white dress I can find in a store I regularly shop in.
Aww ya love wedding posts!!!! I ended up with a Lazaro-but Vera Wang was my 2nd fav:) (I may be partial tho-my mom got her dress from Vera and wanted so badly for me to)
I’m right here with you – already married but can’t help myself when it comes to looking at the newest gowns in bridal magazines. I think I even enjoy it more now since I don’t have the pressure of picking a dress for myself.
Have a lovely day!
xx
These are gorgeous, especially the first one! I definitely believe it’s not about the price tag, but rather the fit and how a gown looks on the bride, along with how it makes her feel.
I think it’s going to need to be the third dress! Beautiful!
@LifestyleBohemia so true! I love looking with less pressure!
Love that Marchesa gown!!
I love the trumpet silhouette of the VW!
The Marchesa and Vera are so dreamy!!!!
ahh marchesa… dream wedding dress!
Vera = perfection! Just went wedding dress shopping with my best friend – I dont know how anyone choose… so many lovely options!
I like those mermaid style gowns! I think it’s definitely not about the price for me, and I’d probably get a cheap gown that still looks great.
Those are gorgeous, I love the first one!
Beautiful! Love the first one and the Vera Wang one!
lovee the gowns, I’ve always wanted a Vera for my wedding, ahh one day 😀
All such beautiful gowns! It is a once in a lifetime chance to go all out, I would totally splurge. Have you seen the wedding dress line from J. Crew?

Gorgeous! Can’t we do it all over again? I often dream of it 🙂 Hope you are doing well, honey and thanks so much for all of the love & support. It means the world to me xoxo
I love (well you already know I do) wedding gowns!! The Marchesa is breathtaking, but I think the Angel Sanchez is more my style.
That first one is like from a dream! whoa! Not sure about the last one though…I think I would not like that on me! But then again, you never know I guess 🙂
i still want a dress by monique lhuillier.
oscar, oscar, oscar… only a real man knows what you should look like that day!
All of the dresses are so beautiful xoxo
These gowns are absolutely stunning. I LOVE that Marchesa one!
Just followed your link and had a look… your Monique gown is gorgeous! I had a Vera Wang wedding gown. Still have it, don’t know what to do with it!
I can only dream of wearing Marchesa someday!
My dream, however, would be if DVF designed a wedding dress.
Absolutely love the one by Angel Sanchez!!!
i was able to splurge on mine because I got it at a sample sale – there’s no way i could have afforded it otherwise!
Wonderful!
