I admit I already have a wedding ring, though it is a “right hand ring” and not a band. It’s in India with my friend now, but it’s a lovely 18k WG, milgrain detailed ring with diamonds (~$250 and forgot the TDW). I was going to wear it either as the wedding ring or switch it to an anniversary ring if I got a band.
BUT, I have stalked Tacori forever and wanted a platinum wedding band. Overstock surprisingly has some nice jewelry at good prices. It seems almost all jewelry is on sale and some ships free. There are also codes out there for 10% off and remember to go through ebates first for a rebate on your purchase. So a Tacori ring I had been eyeing for a while would be a but over $1500 (about 50% off from the newer model I tried on at Michael C. Fina) – platinum, .6 TDW, and hand engraving.
Is this worth the money? How much should I spend on a wedding band?
I’m not like my Tiffany’s set friend who spent $3000 on her band, but it is a great piece of jewelry…
