I am a new convert to online shopping and love the multitude of websites that offer lovely wedding dresses (or bridesmaid dresses) for less!
Here are my top picks:
- eBay (my dad’s $56 tux, hopefully Mr. Chic ‘n Cheap’s tux, my $50 silk tulle, hopefully my reception dress for ~$100) – best selection and see my post about saved searches
- Preowned wedding dresses – amazing quality, selection and user interface
- Once Wed – dresses and cute craft projects
- Save the dress – sometimes slow interface, smaller selection
- Bride to Bride Boutique – dresses, bm dresses, reception decor – smaller selection
- The Knot – look on your local board or The Dress board
- Wore it Once – decent number of dresses, somewhat clunky interface
eBay has the most control if you pay via Paypal. Remember to ask if there is a return policy as well.
Im not patient enough for ebay. I cant really tell what the dresses look like in those small images and imm too lazy to click on every single one.
I am looking for something either 1950s, short style (im in love with priscilla of boston’s reception dresses, but can’t afford them) or something long, simple and slinky. I don’t want to spent more than $650.
