What is your favorite room in your house? I love our living room. Ā Even though I hate our current couch, it is really comfortable and I love lounging there. Ā Our living room is also our little one’s playroom. Ā When I was little, I loved the kitchen nook in my aunt’s home. Ā We would visit her every summer and stay for a few weeks. Ā She lived in various houses throughout Southern California and she always had a casual kitchen nook attached to the family room. Ā We had all of our meals there. Ā We also started there at the beginning and end of every day laying out and organizing our items for the day.
We are moving to a slightly larger apartment next year. Ā I will make some modifications to the kitchen. Ā While I won’t have a kitchen nook, I hope I can also create a similarly cozy corner in my new place!

My dining room isn’t really in a nook, but i love the bench look so much that i got one anyway.
The second picture is absolutely dreamy! If I can have a space like that in my home, it would be a dream come true.

I absolutely LOVE those! Especially the last one. I’m thinking of doing that in my kitchen. L shaped “sofa’, round table and two chairs. I saw one in Ballards Designs that I liked. But they are expensive! HAHAHA

I love a kitchen knook. My grandmother’s beach house had one!
