I’ve been looking at my closet contemplating what to rotate out and what I’d like to add. I’m instantly drawn to more floral prints and brighter colors and find myself scrolling through new arrivals and sales now. In addition, I like to mix in a touch of gold (which is why I’m really drawn to the Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn collection!) I can’t ever get enough of golden hair pins/accessories or classic sunnies during warmer days (golden hoops with delicate diamonds – yes!) These Spring staples also include something with a great print whether it’s these fun slip ons or a fabulous dress. I’m so glad a few of these staples are on sale at Shopbop now which lets me stock up my closet as well as get a few gifts (I love to get gifts early – less to think about later!) See the end of the post for the most chic games ever!

Spring staples
1.Jennifer Behr Gigi bobby pins, set of 4, $73.50 (from $98)
I love how these subtle pins can be used for dressing up an everyday look, or be part of a more formal outfit
2.Le Specs Hey Macarena polarized sunglasses, $51.75 (from $69)
These simple and classic sunnies would go with pretty much everything and I love that these include polarized lenses too (these are also the cheapest pair with polarized lenses on the site now!)
3.Marc Jacobs butterfly hair clip, $71.25 (from $95)
This is such a cute (but not overly cute) hair clip. I envision my little lady stealing this soon.
4.Tara Wilson Designs Medium glitter box, $28.13 (from $125)
At first glance, this was just a regular box, but I love that this allows you to hold a picture too. I’m getting one or two for the house!
1.BB Dakota dots on dots dress, $73.50 (from $98)
What a lovely, versatile dress that can be worn all season.
2.Milly Check Print on Techno Blazer, $280.88 (from $535)
This statement print would be so fun at the office or with jeans for the weekend.
3.Keds x SunnyLife Bird Double Decker Sneakers, $56.25 (from $75)
How are these sneakers? I love the design though – so fun and versatile for spring/summer.
4.Madewell packable hat, $28.50 (from $38)
My hats are always getting crushed when I put them in my bag – this is such a great staple and will maintain its shape.
Bonus gift ideas!
I like to take a look at East Dane (the men’s site which has concurrent sales with Shopbop). My husband doesn’t need any clothing now, but I discovered their selection of games! I hadn’t seen the glass or vintage board games – they’re gorgeous! These make for such timeless gifts and I will grab a few for my kids and gifts as well.
Scrabble glass edition, $60 (from $80)
This set is simply gorgeous and durable – I’d keep this around for years.
Sorry! Nostalgia edition, $22.50 (from $30)
I love this tin box and that it’s made like the original version.
Clue vintage bookshelf edition, $30 (from $40)
This remake of the 1949 edition comes in the coolest box which looks like a book. Seriously these games are so beautifully made and presented.
Life vintage bookshelf edition, $30 (from $40)
This remake of the 1960 edition has such a wonderful retro feel as well.

I don’t really need anything right now but I might just peep this sale for the dresses and home goods. I always forget that East Dane runs sales at the same time. I need to buy some new work pants and sneakers for my husband..
I always love the shopbop sale – It can be so dangerous though! I’m with you on the gold accents, I always look for gold hardware on my bags and shoes.
Chic on the Cheap
Oh my gosh the bobby pins are so chic, and how classy do the bookshelf edition of the games look! Thanks for sharing these great spring picks!
