“Happiness held is the seed; Happiness shared is the flower.”
John Harrigan
What makes you happy? So many little things make me happy. I love spicy fried chicken (just had it today after a good meeting), hugs from my loved ones, and bright flowers in bloom. I saw this editorial of Sasha Pivovarova for Vogue Russia November 2018 and was reminded of a few things that make me happy. I also adore the quote above as well. We are certainly of different kinds of happiness including a quiet satisfaction we derive from accomplishing something to the joy we can share with good company.
I’m certainly happy when I am able to capture a great photo, like a resting butterfly on a flower. Or I love the quiet happiness I feel when I check something off my list. But while we can feel joy by ourselves, there’s nothing quite like that laugh out loud happiness with others. I love that laugh till you hurt feeling you get when you and a loved one find something hilarious. The laughter and the happiness are infectious. I was at a party the other day hosted by a new friend. I unexpectedly saw a few friends and we had such a fun time. It really reminded me that good people and good conversations can bring such happiness. So here’s to finding more of these happy moments and sharing them with others.
Have a lovely week!
Lots make me happy. my children, husband. sunshine, flowers, books. lots of things. I think it’s important to find things that make us happy. makes the tough time a little bit easier to deal with. these pictures are stunning, want all the clothes :))) Happy monday x
Walking around NYC makes me equally happy and stressed depending on what I’m getting up to and if things go smoothly. It worked out well today because I got my errands done efficiently and even ran inot an old friend.
spending time with friends makes me happy and shooting street stle. i love challenging myself and these photos are breath taking true talent to be sure and the model is gorgeous too.
