Can’t repeat the past, why of course you can!
F. Scott Fitzgerald, “The Great Gatsby”
There are some things in the past I care to leave in the past, but there are others which I wish to cherish for a long time. Â We came back from our anniversary trip to Cambodia and were awed by the country (posts to come but I took several hundred pictures!) Â We reminisced about our wedding and the early days of the relationship…the first time we held hands on a date at the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the beautiful surprise of hearing those three little words.
I am fortunate to be with this amazing guy and learn and grow with him.
Unfortunately for me, he seems to have a better memory than me when it comes to certain events. Â He jokingly says that he will have to write down our significant moments so they can jog my memory when we’re older (like “The Notebook”). Â For now, our pictures and his memory have helped me remember those moments and I definitely hope to look back at them some day as I fondly recall them. Â But most importantly, I hope to build and remember more lovely moments in the future.
Here’s to your lovely memories of vintage romance!
Have a lovely week!

Happy anniversary, sweetie! So happy that you got to go on such a wonderful trip. Can’t wait to see photos. You’ve got yourself a great guy. But of course you deserve him 🙂 xoxo
These photos are so glamorous and magical. They remind me of a book I’m reading right now about female writers in the 1920s. The fabulousness about the decade marvels me. 🙂
And what a sweet post about your hubby. You really are a lucky woman. I can’t wait to see the photos of your trip! xoxo
He sounds wonderful! 🙂 You are truly blessed!!! Lovely images!

Oh, hello, Great Gatsby!! That will forever be the most stylish book in the world.
I have a great memory. Sometimes, it gets me into trouble, or I remember things that I would rather forget, but most of the time it is a huge blessing. Mr. A, on the other hand, has the worst memory ever.
