Among the many people in this world you’ll meet, there are only a few (unless you’re lucky enough to have skipped all that), and ultimately one you’ll call your own.
It may take some time, but there is one that will be your partner, your anchor, the one in the crowd that belongs with you. I had no idea that the guy I talked to for 2 minutes at a Superbowl party would be the one I’d marry (over 280 days of marriage, 2 countries, and going strong!) You never know…

Here’s to finding that special someone in the crowd…
So incredible! I love this more than you know 🙂 Btw, Uluwatu is not super far from the airport but it’s got some windy roads through some busy parts of town so that’s what makes it longer. I think the fastest we got there was about 40 minutes or so and more like an hour for a regular relaxing ride. 🙂 If there’s such a thing in Bali (see a future recap)
So true! What a great photo 🙂 Hope your week’s off to a great start xoxo
I. Love. This. You do never know who you might end up with. I had no idea that the guy dressed as Shaun of the Dead at a bar 6 years ago would be the one I would marry. Luckily it was Halloween, but I probably would have still thought he was hot anyway. 🙂
Love that picture!
Aw such a cute post! And so true 🙂 I met my boyfriend at a friend’s battle of the bands concert.

Awesome pic!
Fabulous post!
That is so sweet. Your guy is a lucky one! So the Superbowl must be an especially big deal for you both!
so true! i never thought the guy i’d have a quick business meeting with would end up being my man for 11 years and counting.
It’s so true – you just really never know! My first meeting with my now-fiance was fortuitous as well, considering he almost never hangs with the crowd we were out with at the sushi/sake/karaoke party where we met – on a Tuesday night, no less. Neither of us ever goes out during the week!
Congrats to you and your husband for staying strong through all the transition!
awww that is the cutest photo..:)
That is so sweet! I agree with every word! The hubz and I also met in the most unlikely circumstance!
I was going to try the pumpkin pasta but I can’t believe we’re not gonna have pumpkin here til fall (fresh or canned). Some pumpkin blight this season I was told. =(
About the French Laundry soup, you just gave me an idea to try for next time. I’ll see if it could work with mango + cashew. I’ll let you know. 😉
Aw, I met my husband at a crowded bar. It’s true you can find true love anywhere!
You’re giving me so much hope to find someone 🙂
You are so sweet.
