There’s something about the city of lights that is hauntingly beautiful, romantic, and ethereal. I loved walking those cobble stoned streets with a baguette in hand and visiting my favorite museums (the Musee d’Orsay being a favorite along with Musee Rodin for the peaceful garden). Though my French was limited, I still got to eat and loved the energy of the city (though the customer service was comically French).
I was a bit bummed that I didn’t get to visit Paris when I was living in London but I’m sure I’ll be back some day. The macaron bar at Laduree calls me.
My husband also wants to go back to the spot where he proposed (it was on the Pont d’Artes) and finally find the Tibetan restaurant I loved.
I saw this photo and remembered why Paris is such a popular place for lovers.

One day I’ll go to Paris.

I love looking at wedding dresses. I never tire of it!
That is such a lovely picture… I miss Paris. And your husband proposed in Paris? That is soooooo romantic.
How amazing that you were proposed to in Paris! Where was the Tibetan restaurant? When we lived on Rue Gay Lussac off St-Michel near Jardin du Luxembourg there was a foodie street in behind and it had a Tibetan restaurant, just wondering if it’s the same one! xx
Ohhh my goodness, how I wish I was in NYC to partake in the Cymbeline sale! Two of my top pics were Cymbeline gowns; they are so lovely and interesting!
I wish two things about white dresses:
1. they were more flattering
and
2. they were more acceptable to wear at all times
🙂
So I kinda/sorta want to be the girl in the first picture – I adore it!! 🙂
oh paris, i hope to visit there soon!
