Proud city girls can love Mother Nature too. I’ve always lived in cities but do miss the opportunity to hike on a small mountain, walk through a field of flowers, or lie underneath the stars. At least pools are something that can be built indoors or outdoors as long as you have the space. I love swimming and love LOVE that there are so many complexes here that have pools. Place that pool in a garden and it is the ultimate calling of nature – calm waters and lush foliage surround you.
Some day, some day, this will be mine. I’d have a few tables underneath the trees and hang out with friends and family. In the meantime, I can travel to nearby countries that can have something similar and am researching where to go. So what do you think – Phuket or Bali for this natural poolside experience?
What a serene escape! I don’t think I’d ever leave.
Looks absolutely lovely and relaxing…the epitome of paradise! Happy Monday to you!
Oh, wow, I love a really cool and different pool. This one is gorgeous, I would love water in our garden too. I would be perfectly happy with Bali OR Phuket (or, quite frankly even a little slice of coast in Florida would be just fine right now, too!). Anyway, lovely blog, Chic and Cheap caught my eye, as I’m pretty much ALWAYS trying to pull off that combo (sometimes successfully, sometimes not!). I’m following, and I’ll definitely be back to see more!
oooh I’m now dreaming, thanks!!!
That’s just dreamy! I don’t think you could go wrong with Bali or Phuket. I’ll live vicariously through u 🙂
Such a beautiful setting, I would be in heaven! I haven’t been to Bali or Thailand, but both destinations are very high on our lists. I love swimming too, but am relegated to the lap pool at my fitness center – too cold for pools here most of the time!
That is the most beautiful picture. And Bali is one of my dream vacations! One day hopefully…
I would settle with a pool on the roof:)
One day, maybe even in a little courtyard in Italy. Heaven.
A pool in the garden. Yes. Please. I can’t help but to think of paradise!! 🙂
Gorgeous! I pick both since I haven’t been to either place!
That’s so pretty! I love the idea of having a pool in a garden! If I had one, I’d like it to be as jungle-y as possible – hanging plants and waterfalls! 🙂
Can I come over for some ice tea? Amazing!
this is JUST GORGEOUS!!!! and you will have one someday!
my little sister used to have a pool. i loved when she went on vacation, and i could housesit and just lay on a raft in that pool for hours. quite possibly the most relaxing feeling on earth! just fab. 🙂
Wow, tell me where you’ll find a similar pool… I would want to go to. I love the setting… it’s a perfect place to go swimming.
Ohhhh wow!!! This is my dream! ONE DAY! 🙂
Phuket or Bali? I really don’t know. But what I do know is that this is so beautiful; I want to be there NOW!
I’ve been in love with Bali for eternity, so that’s my pick. And there’s nothing better than an amazing pool/outdoor space – as a matter of fact, I found my dream home the other day:

That garden is gorgeous!
I’ve been to Bali, but that was many years ago. I loved it! Phuket is on my wish list sometime in the future. I really crave a spa holiday in surroundings as pictured.
I think I like Phuket better. Although Bali is nice up in the hills.
OMG! What a dreamy dreamy [almost like a lap] pool! I’d love this backyard!
