For the man sound in body and serene of mind there is no such thing as bad weather; every sky has its beauty, and storms which whip the blood do but make it pulse more vigorously.

Interestingly enough, it’s been raining pretty consistently since we’ve moved here April/May. Why interesting? It hardly rains this time of year and rainy season is December, January.
Ahh silly weather.
While rainy days certainly limit my pool time, they are the perfect time for some other favorite activities.
I have fond memories of eating onion pakoras and sipping tea while sitting in the kitchen and chatting with one of my loveliest friends in France during a particularly gray and dreary afternoon.
My husband and I also never appreciate our couch and a favorite movie more than on a rainy day. While stormy nights aren’t my favorite nights, they are a reason to get closer to the man I married as I muffle my ears.
Yes the most beautiful thing about storms to me are the moments (and lovely memories) that may transpire while they occur.
What do you love about storms?
Have a lovely week!

Such a lovely post! Few things are as peaceful as cozying up inside during a summer storm.
What a gorgeous quote!
Hmmm … Can I poetic? I like the silence before the storm … and if rains I also like squeaky clean roams after a good rain!
Love that photo! Bad weather forces me to relax . . . I’m thankful for it when I don’t have to go to work 🙂
we had a stormy weekend. i love the way summer rain smells.
You are such a beautiful person. Love this post. It doesn’t storm much in Utah in the states but when it does I find much delight in the powerful forces behind it. It is in captivating to think about the majesty of it all.

Oh I am with you honey! Sometimes I secretly wish for a stormy weekend so I sit at home and enjoy some indoor activities. Nothing refreshes and recharges me more. And they can be pretty magical to watch. We’ve been having some pretty powerful storms here lately because of the intense heat. Gotta love those summer storms 🙂
It totally rained here ALL weekend! What I love about storms is being all snuggly inside with the hubs!

Thunderstorms are one of my most favorite things in the world. I love that picture. 🙂
I love storms! They are so dramatic and exciting! The thing I don’t love is that our power often goes out during them! XO!
I really don’t know what I love about storms, but I sure do love them:)
What a lovely post! I only enjoy scary thunderstorms when I’m cozy inside the house. Lol. Outside, that’s a different story. I really love that picture too, by the way. xo
Thanks for your lovely feedback 😀

i love that i have an excuse not to leave the house and i can just park myself on the couch with a movie or a book.
I like to watch lightning storms, but I hate it when rain devours my days. I think it should reserve it self to only come down once the sun has set.
