“A vacation is like love — anticipated with pleasure, experienced with discomfort, and remembered with nostalgia.”

Are you going on a vacation this summer?
I’ll be back in NY shortly for a family wedding. I’m happy to see friends and family that I adore, revisit old haunts, and chomp on some authentic New York cheesecake. I’m not looking forward to the inevitable jet lag that will accompany us and the little lady. I think she will be especially confused when we head upstate to my sister-in-law’s place and is in yet another new, unfamiliar place. I hope everyone has earplugs for her early morning wakings. But I know we will have fun with family and it will be a crazy, great time.
When I saw this editorial though, I thought about (and would LOVE) to go vacation in Europe. I haven’t been to Europe in 2 years and miss walking through the cobblestoned streets of an old city like Milan. We may go for a closer option this year (Japan again maybe?) but in the meantime, I’ll anticipate the next vacation with excitement and hope it beings memories of love and lots of fun.
Have a lovely week!
She has such a pretty face!
Have a lovely new week 🙂

This is gorgeous, love the outfits :))) I wish I was going on holiday somewhere just now. I need more sunshine,it’s a bit grey here again. I hope you have a gorgeous day lovely xx
I haven’t been on vacation to Europe in a while either. I’m always in the mood to go on vacation, but would love to bypass the jetlag and the super long flights. I need a hypertube!
Cheryl, yep I always want to go on vacation too! I’m waiting for the hypercube/beaming to be invented so I can get places a lot faster!
I’m not going anywhere this year or next. LOL I wish! LOL I’m getting a new cooling and heating system installed this week. Also thinking about starting the kitchen remodeling soon. New York always has so much to do. One could never get bored with it. I read a lot of people are going to Europe this year. The prices are not suppose to be bad at all.

Kim, you’re always welcome to visit SE Asia or NY when I’m around! You still have quite a few home projects that should keep you busy for a while! Send more pictures of the remodeling as you progress (or post on FB!)
We’re still trying to plan our vacation for this year. Trying to decide between Europe or Hawaii. I wish Japan were closer to NYC…

Why not Europe AND H’awaii? I know I’m totally enabling but they are fab for such different reasons!
