Do you ever feel stuck or overwhelmed and come to a standstill?
Perhaps we are or perhaps we are just in between floors like the little girl below.
Or at least that’s what I hope as I keep searching for my place here. We’re pretty settled in our new home, but I feel like I’m not quite settled either. I’m neither quite here nor there.
But I’ll keep on going. After all, you never know what will await you if you don’t go forward and explore the other possibilities.

Here’s hoping some great things await you at the next level.
Have a lovely week!
YUP – love it! – no wait, adore it!

Absolutely agree with the last statement! 🙂 Keep moving. The only direction to go is forward!!! Love the picture. Very intriguing.

p.s. i really enjoyed reading your answers to my getting to know ya better questions darling.. thanks for taking time to answer.. 🙂
Great image and analogy. I think it takes quite some time to get settled in a new place – hang in there!
I hope you have a great week.
I have felt just that way several times throughout my life. Everything always works out for me and I know it will for you too!
Great picture also. 🙂
Love the photo! I am so with you! We are going to have to move at some point in the next year, and while part of me looks forward to it, part of me dreads it, for that very reason! XO!
Great photo! I feel the same way, we are probably going to be moving this year, and while I kind of look forward to it, I kind of dread it, too, for this very reason! XO!
In between floors. . . I like that metaphor. I hope I am going up.

Wow that’s awesome!
happy beginning of the week to you 🙂
i feel like that once and a while. it usually passes, but it doesn’t hurt to think about what you want next, etc. or what you can do to make it better, just to help yourself out of the funk. love the photo.
When I first moved to London I felt like that. Stranded between my old world and new, feeling like I wasn’t a good fit for either yet. And then without me realising London became home. Us humans and our ability to adapt is pretty awesome. x
Such an inspirational pic darling – thank you for sharing it, especially needed on a Monday!! <3
YUP always. and i like the “in between floors” analogy you got going. it’s so true…that’s exactly how i feel at times.
oh yeah i know that.
i always want to be superfast and am quite impatient in general.
and then there comes a point where you get stuck and you have to stand still. just have to let go and accept the situation.
i love the photo by the way-
and situations like that are usually really good to question things and move on in a better way afterwards…
That is a fantastic photo! I hope you get settled in soon.
