“Sensual is everything that refers to the delight of the senses. And that’s what artists do, is stimulate the senses in any possible way.”
How do you make yourself feel sensual?
These days, and especially as a mom, I can’t say that exuding sensuality is one of my top priorities or strengths. Yet when I spotted this editorial with Anna Ewers (she has such an interesting vibe – Brigitte Bardot and a hint of Rachel Bilson right?), I immediately got an air of sensuality. Of course the low cut tops contribute to this feeling, but I also like the retro aura when clothing and swimwear was more balanced. The swimming suits aren’t barely there bikinis with strategically placed strings here and there. Long sleeves are in abundance reminding us that we don’t have to show everything (a toned stomach and legs do make an appearance). Being and feeling sensual is about the state of mind that helps you to delight the senses, those of yourself and those around you.
So I’m stepping out the door today with my favorite polo dress on, showing just a little bit of leg, putting my hair up, and reveling in my sensual delights.
Have a lovely week!
These are gorgeous pictures, love the red number 🙂 Sensuality is a very important part of feeling great. It can be from your favourite perfume to your favourite lingerie set. Being a mother does indeed cut some time into doing things for yourself, but it is so important to try, one will feel so much better without even realising it. I hope you have a great start to the week my dear xx
I think being ladylike is quite sensual and thankfully so does my husband 🙂
