Enjoy yourself and have fun!
Sometimes I really miss being a kid. That was the life! Sure I had to do homework and create random projects for science fairs, but I also got rewarded with great treats. If we were really good, my grandfather would take us to Coney Island (way down at the tip of Brooklyn) for a day trip during the summer. It was almost as fun taking the nearly two hour train ride there and swinging from the subway handrails. I loved the famous ferris wheel and bumper cars when I did eventually get inside the amusement park (I also loved a game where if you shot the bulls eye, the character would do something like play the piano!)
Adulthood certainly doesn’t have the same fun and games as childhood. Careers, partners, and quarter life crises are no fun indeed. But that also means that it is even more important for us to set time aside, step away from every day seriousness, and do something fun! You can’t always recreate your childhood but you can always create new, wonderful, and fun moments.
Have a lovely week!

Mila Kunis looks stunning! I agree that we need to set aside time for fun. Last year, my husband and I bought season passes to a nearby theme park and convinced two friends to do the same. We were the oldest ones in the park without kids, but it was one of the best summers of my life 🙂
Omg I want to pin and recreate it alllllll
Yes, why not have fun in a glamorous way as well.
I feel I am still a kid at times… and poor my dresses!!!
Haha, I think it must be fashion telepathy! I like the spin you took on this editorial, I would love to spend a day at the amusement park eating candy floss and riding the carousel.
This is SO fun! And I love Mila!
I absolutely love that second picture with the balloons! I miss being a kid terribly or at least the freedoms that come with being a kid and not having stress or worry!
Being a kid definitely had its perks! I still feel like a kid at times, and one of my favorite ways to relive my childhood is by visiting Disneyland when I’m in California.
I really do wish I could be a kid again! Especially looking at these photos, it takes me back to a less worried time of my life.
Confession: I have a maaayyyjah girl crush on Mila Kunis.

Mila is on FIRE! She’s also making me want to be a kid again too.
So festive and fun–there’s something about a carousel that says baroque and play all at once . . .
