“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast. “
Ernest Hemingway

Say what you may about Parisians – they may be stereotypically rude, curt, arrogant, or lazy.
But it is just a stereotype and luckily, I have never had any bad experiences in Paris or France. One lady even went out of her way to help me operate a ticket machine at the train station in May – some people are too nice!
One stereotype to believe though is that Paris is a beautiful place. Its streets are filled with the most gorgeous buildings with large windows and decorative balconies. You feel like you’ve stepped into the 19th century when you gaze up at the architecture and details. The journey to the past is further reinforced when you meander the halls of the wonderful Louvre or the back gardens of the Rodin museum. Cobblestones and beautifully manicured lawns aren’t out of place. This is in contrast with bold and modern French art that pops up in parks, street corners, and unexpected places. Yet it still seems to complement the Parisian aesthetic. It truly is a place meant for long walks and inadvertently getting lost – after all, it isn’t a horrible thing to have to settle into a cafe to spend the rest of your day right?
I haven’t spent much time in Paris my last trip (it was just a transit point en route to a wedding), but I hope to experience this moveable feast again very soon!
Have a lovely week!
I love Paris, it’s a very diverse place with people and buildings of all kinds :)) And the people there were nice to me, so I didn’t have any problems. I think people get it in their heads these stereotypes. Mean and nice people live everywhere, not just in one place. I’d be great tog et back to Paris one day, I do love it 🙂 Have a gorgeous week doll xx
Kizzy, you are so right! Though I unfortunately met a few French people during this last trip that could have used a few etiquette lessons, I know those type of people exist everywhere!
My dream to visit here, it looks even more charming and beautiful in these photos. Wishing you a great start to the week doll!
Beautiful photos!

it does look truly stunning, and i love how captivating these reflection images are.
I’m so glad you had a great time. Even a small amount of time spent there is exquisite. That was very nice of that lady! Some people will say anything. It’s unfortunate. That’s why you should always rely on your thinking and visit yourself. HAHAHA Hope you get back soon.
You know how much I love Paris and those photos are incredible! WOW, what a dreamy place. Happy Monday, sunshine.
Diana, I think you need to get back to Paris soon! These photos really are incredible and you can take your own as well!
These images are spectacular! Like you, I’ve been very fortunate to only have positive experiences while in Paris.
I’ve been avoiding the subway as much as possible since I’ve become one of those people who always needs to find a seat now 🙁 It is awful when one is impeded like you said. Your company was awesome for picking up your cab fare 🙂
Have a fab week my dear!

Rowena, I was almost on a roll with Paris, but then experienced some rudeness at the airport. Oh well, not everyone can be friendly 😉

All the reflective photography is great. I think these photos do a great job of showcasing Paris. I totally loved the way this city looked and felt when I was there a few years ago. It’s simply one of the most beautiful places ever.
