I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with pastel colors every season. Â Oh how I wish that blue were a bit more rich or hmm is the color too neutral? Â But pastels still hold a steady place in my closet. Â The light colors pair perfectly with the mood of spring – as the seasons renew, we also start to show more color and brightness (isn’t there a reason why mint has been such a strong seasonal color?)
Perhaps pastels remind me of myself as well. Â I don’t always have to be bold and it’s ok that I am not the life of the party. But I can still be fun in a subdued way. Â I am quite content being subtle and still make a bright statement as well (hmm paradox?, I don’t necessarily think so though!)
How do you make a subtle statement?
Have a lovely week!

I have the love/hate relationship, too. Always end up getting sucked in though 🙂
I’ve never been good at subtle. I can be so obnoxious sometimes! I’m always drawn to the wildest patterns, colors, sequins/glitter, etc. I have the opposite lesson to learn: subtle/muted can be beautiful, too! 🙂
Such a cute photoshoot!
I love pastels but can only really wear a soft blue or green, as I’m a redhead. Wish I could get away with more!

Love those! I like pastels, but too much of it can simply be too much. I like to have rich, bright colours too!! xx

Gorgeous pastels and gorgeous photography. xo
pastels signal spring for me, so whether i intended to get something or not, i always do. they are just as fun to style as vibrant colours though. xox P
Beautiful shooting!
I love pastels on others but never felt I could pull them off with my skin tone. I try to make a bold/subtle statement with my accessories – shoes are a great place for me to add a pop of color to an otherwise neutral or monochromatic outfit. Have a lovely week 🙂
Pastel power! I love pastels. I like to wear a hint of pastel in an outfit when I want some color. I usually don’t deck myself out in pastel shades.

I’m horrible at subtle lol. Oh well.
I love pastels but I rarely wear them myself. Well I’ll wear yellow but that’s really about it. Not sure what that says about me… 🙂 I love the look on others though. xoxo
Love all these beautiful colors!!!
I’m still loving pastels in all forms
Lovely photos.=)

Love the post and the images!
As for the question, I think I am exactly like u: my personality is rather quiet, I am not a ‘here I am’ person. Yet, when it comes to make I fashion statement, I’m not that subtle. XOXO
I love pastel hues, of course wearing them in your own way helps. But, then again I tend to adore bold colours as well. Sometimes I make it subtle by minimal jewellery or jut having pastels in a top piece of clothing, instead of allover. Have a great Monday. -xo
I know what you mean but they can be really easy to wear, especially as a skirt or pants or accessory. Love the coat! Happy Monday!

Ice cream colors totally make me happy and remind me of the warmer weather as well. I can’t seem to get enough of mint this season.
