It will be very interesting one day to follow the pattern of our life as it is spread out like a beautiful tapestry. As long as we live here we see only the reverse side of the weaving, and very often the pattern, with its threads running wildly, doesn’t seem to make sense. Some day, however, we shall understand.

Do you believe in fate? Is your life destined to follow a certain path?
I really have no idea. I know of young heartbreak, summers filled with cousins and Kudos, devastating effects of people who were once friends, the beautiful colors of fall in France, and career crossroads. Was I meant to travel along all these paths and feel the full weight of all these experiences?
But it is true that my good and bad experiences have definitely shaped me into the person I am today. I am both stronger and more empathetic, more open and perceptive of the beautiful and awful things in people, and set in my ways while still understanding that I can grow much more.
In the meantime, I still hope to appreciate the beauty in life and perhaps understand it all some day!
Have a lovely week!
What an amazingly open and reflective post, not at all the words I expected to read from those gorgeous images but beautifully written words to ponder over.
experiences do shape is, both good and bad. but i wouldn’t trade them!
and those dresses are so awesome. truly.
i love your attitude…i guess we have to experience all those things at some point!
I’m not sure, but I think somethings go the way they should without us realising it. Am in love with these dresses, they are marvellous :))) Hope you have a wonderful week doll x
I definitely believe in fate…whats meant to be will. Love the baroque outfits, especially the Balmain dress.
Beautiful quote and clothes! I’m not sure that I believe in fate, but the tapestry image is food for thought 🙂
I’d like to believe that some things are fated, but that somethings are a choice. There will always be elements out of your control and how you choose to deal with them is up to you alone.
I believe that even though one ay steer off the path, we eventually can and will be guided on the right one. I embrace all of my experiences, trials and tribulations of life … and yes, I agree that it has shaped me into the person that I am today. Without them there would be no progression or appreciation. Gorgeous photo inspiration. Happy Monday.xx/M
I wish I could have that second dress! HAHAHA I believe we all have paths. I feel its the decisions that we make and choose that lead us down the path (whether it’s good or bad haha). I’ve had life lessons! They definitely make you stronger. Excellent post.

I believe in fate and I’m thankful to Who gifted me with the hardest times and the even more meaningful greatest blessings. Deep inside I think and I am a little bit scared while I say it that my husband and daughter are the miracle reward to much suffering I have endured. It’s such a big reward that sometimes I’m afraid I’m still in debt with fate. I wish you all the best dear. Kisses Coco
