“Freedom lies in being bold.”
Robert Frost
Do you associate freedom with boldness?
I can be bold in some areas, but not in other areas. I saw this editorial via the Edit and immediately thought there was such a sense of freedom in these pictures. There is an air of lightness and subtle confidence. So can I really be free if I am bold? I can certainly see why being bold or confident can lead to a feeling of freedom. After all, if I am bold, I’m breaking out from my own perceptions and limitations. It’s a little scary doing something out of my comfort zone.
I’ve been a little more bold lately in my professional life as I’ve had to wear a lot of different hats to accomplish tasks. I’m still not entirely comfortable with doing something like sales, but I’ve learned a few tips and tricks to make it a little easier. I also realized that I have to be a little bold to grow and transform. So it’s a little daunting to do things I haven’t done before (plan champagne receptions! create sellers agreements!) but little by little, I’m getting a little more bold and gaining a little freedom. I wish you a dose of boldness and freedom as well friends! I’m also finally back from my whirlwind travels so hope to stop by your blogs soon too!
Have a lovely week!
The boldness bug didn’t hit me until my mid 30’s. I was so timid prior to that. LOL Now I think I’m a little too assertive. I think it’s due to life experiences. So glad your trips went well. Really good to hear about your new adventures (job).

Thanks for the sweet words Kim! Boldness didn’t hit me until later too and I also think I am sometimes too bold because of life and work experiences (like a crazy project in my mid-20s!) But boldness is definitely a good thing!
I think you can associate boldness with freedom, because sometimes you have to be bold to get to freedom. Not many people are bold, they sort of fall in line with what they’re told is ok. But, I think boldness causes you to step away from that and do what you, yourself feels is right. I wish there was more boldness in the world really. These are stunning pictures. Happy Monday doll xx
You are so right Kizzy! Being bold has caused me to step away and do things I wouldn’t normally do (in keeping line with my own comfort level) and do something different and liberating. There should be more boldness in the world!
boldness is a quality i am hoping to master one day!
You are bolder than you think Elle! You are a bold and beautiful beauty blogger who is informative, sweet, and unafraid to share a piece of yourself!
Thanks for the encouragement! I definitely need to work on being more bold in my professional life.
Being bold in professional life is hard Heather! Sometimes you may just be forced to do it if you’re in a new role. Good luck!
I definitely think that boldness can lend itself to freedom and vice versa. Alicia Vikander is such just gorgeous free spirit in this editorial!

Yes, boldness and freedom can certainly lend themselves to one another. I only lately discovered Alicia Vikander. She’s fabulous!
Boldness and freedom do go together! It’s awesome that you are pushing yourself to do new things 🙂
Thanks Ashley! I’m certainly pushed to do new things, so it’s scary but fun too!
I can see how boldness and freedom can be associated. Sometimes we have to be bold and step out of our comfort zone to face new challenges in life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on boldness, really appreciate your encouragement! 😀 Have a great week!
Le sigh…what a gorgeous editorial – I’m obsessing over all of the boots!
xx
I feel like I am always bold personally and professionally. Sometimes I need to learn to scale it back. Ha…I should learn from you!
Love these bohemian looks!
