Blend in Beautifully.
{Source}
There are definitely times I want to stand out and be noticed – “Look at me, I rock!” and there are other times when I prefer to take a social back seat and simply sit back and observe. Â Maybe I prefer to be a wallflower during these ocassions.
When I saw these pictures by Cecilia Parades of people that actually blended into these walls with flowers, I was struck by how seamlessly they merge with the background. Â But then I started to think that blending in can be a very good thing. Â If I find a beautiful backdrop and can be a part of it (an environment, a culture, a place), doesn’t that mean that I fit very well with that setting? Â I can be an integral part of that setting, but then step away from the way and be myself. Â Perhaps the most important thing is finding that beautiful place where you can blend in and fit just right.
Have a lovely week!

Lovely post, and wonderful photos and concept. Yes, I believe that “blending in” can often be a very good thing!
Now THAT is definitely blending in. HAHA So beautiful! I’m one that likes to observe and not be the life of the party. 🙂

Amazing! It took me a minute to find the model. Such creativity and talent!
gorgeous images. I think we really need to find our own niche and blend/fit into it comfortably.
Blending into the background is definitely not a bad thing – I think there’s a time and a place ya know?
a whole new meaning to being a wallflower, i suppose.
Usually I’m somewhere in between. I want to be noticed, but I’d probably prefer to just be in the background.
Chic on the Cheap
To blend and fit just right is a hard thing to find, but when you do it is wonderful. I am searching for that in Seattle – our new hometown! Beautifully written post and the pics are divine.
this is gorgeous 🙂 I’m actually thinking at the moment about putting some wallpaper on my walls 🙂
