Be bold, proclaim it everywhere: They only live who dare.

Do you consider yourself bold?
I flipped through these beautiful pictures and thought of how women can make bold statements through their fashion and style. I do love a jaw dropping gown or unapologetically glamorous pair of earrings. But I am also reminded of bold acts large and small.
Are you the type of person that proclaims her views with a loud voice and a fearless look? Or do you simply dress in a bold way and are unafraid to layer bright colors and statement necklaces even if you are just going to the park? Are you the person who confronts someone else when you want to express your views?
I admit I am a little shy by nature. I used to be every bit the meek, little girl when I was younger (much to my mother’s dismay). I did try to become bolder though bit by bit. Perhaps becoming bolder is just a part of growing up? After my mother marched me over to a group of girls I didn’t know on a study abroad trip and proclaimed that we should get to know each other, I vowed that I would do my own introductions from that point. I’ve become bolder/more outgoing since I had to make new friends over and over again as we’ve moved from place to place. I’ve also learned a little more about when and where I would be expressing my views (sometimes there is a fine line between being bold and being aggressive and I’ve learned a lot more about that line). After all, being bold is about expressing myself and continuing my little acts of daring. Once we dare, don’t we truly live life to the fullest?
How are you bold?
Have a lovely week!
The first picture fits with the quote perfectly.
I’m a little too bold. Sometimes I get myself in trouble because I’m so “passionate” about my views . . . and I know that I can come across as aggressive. I’m trying to work on that==it can be an ugly quality. 🙁
I can become very shy, if I let myself. But I have learned that voicing my views, or feelings (in an appropriate way!) proves to be much healthier in the long run.
Boldness with clothing on the other hand, that is a daily thing!
Beautiful (and bold!) post!
omgosh these photos are amazing!!! i especially love the gwen stefani one!
happy holidays and merry christmas hon! you have to let me know if you end up deciding on going to barcelona or vietnam :)!
I’m bold because I’m outspoken and tell it like it is which can be good or bad sometimes if people don’t appreciate honesty.
That photo of Kate Winslet is stunning isn’t it. I actually pinned it the other day 🙂
Merry Christmas to you and your family dear! Hope it’s full of joy and magic!
