Being bold is about taking a risk. Β It is an internal or external action that is beyond your comfort zone. Β I think that being bold is also necessary to evolve. Β How will you go forward if you don’t make those small changes inside and out? I know that my own style has changed as I’ve made bold (to me) gestures; I started by wearing pieces I would have never tried before like a large mixed media necklace to a bright jewel toned shirt. Β Little by little, I got to pick know which style elements I liked to choose to be bold.
I have also been bold in my actions. Β While I’m slightly shy by nature, I knew I wanted to meet more people as we moved all over the world. Β I found myself reaching out and connecting to people I may not have normally met – perhaps this blog and all the wonderful people I’ve met through it is an extension of this!
Any small action can be a bold actionΒ that helps you adjust and transform to ultimately be the person you want to be. How are you bold?
Have a lovely week!
I think I’m growing more bold at work by asking for what I want as opposed to sitting around and waiting for it to happen. This morning, I was rewarded with a promotion π
So true that we all can be bold in so many different ways! Brilliant post and that hot, pink lipstick is fantastic. Happy MOnday, sunshine

yahh you have to be bold when moving to a new place! i had a good run there for awhile but am settling comfortably with friends now…taking a break on the boldness. wait, that’s not a good thing? arghgh
I am inspired to be very bold.
it is good to take a risk in life. i have a HUGE risk aversion, and that only holds one person back: ME.
this weekend i heard about a cowboy festival and i decided to go. i am NOT a cowgirl. not even close. and i was nervous to death, but i went there by myself and i had fun. thankfully all the cowboys and cowgirls allowed city folks in and they didn’t shoot us! π
Love the pictures. Agree on the last line. I am fairly bold I think but again I am also shy. I am a mystery π

I am very Bold indeed. I adore those playful, bright and happy colours – it’s time to give Black a spring break;-)
oooh i love those yellow pants! hope you are having a lovely week, darling π
It’s funny, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve become increasingly shy and quiet, whereas when I was a child and teenager, I was very bold. I think I need to regain a little of that in my life. Life is too short to not make some in your face choices.
Gorgeous!
Very true! I love the sentiment of this post. I think being bold and taking risks is the only way you’ll find out whether you like something or not and the best way to meet people. Waiting around for something to happen or simply staying put just means you’ll be stuck in a rut forever. Love these images too.
P.S. If you’re ever back in London let me know! Perhaps we could grab a coffee sometime.
We should all dare to take risks! Fashion is all about risking π Great photos!
