I admit it, I love Derek Zoolander.
Zoolander was simply hilarious. I’ve watched it several times over the last few years and it’s such a snapshot of the time. There are just so many funny lines “It’s a walkoff!”, unexpected cameos (RIP David Bowie), and ridiculous outfits that came out of those movie. But it’s all about Derek Zoolander and how it lovingly and confidently does everything with attitude (whether it’s the right thing or not!) As DVF says, “Attitude is everything” and it’s no surprise that Ben Stiller is completely in character in his first editorial as Zoolander for Vogue February 2016. He and Penelope Cruz effortlessly recreate a few famous fashion poses.
It just reminds me that attitude, or confidence, really makes a person. There will always be someone out there that is smarter, prettier, or more creative. But we can always be the best version of ourselves. I feel like I’ve been lacking this the last few months and making excuses not to push for myself or thinking I wasn’t always good enough. But I know I can do some pretty awesome things (we all can). So go out there and flash “Blue Steel”.

This Zealander shoot for Vogue was definitely fun!
I feel like Penelope Cruz doesn’t even have to try — she just always looks good. The hubs is a BIG Zoolander fan and he’s excited to see the new one.

You’re so right what you say about confidence too because as I was looking through the pics I was like, wow – Ben Stiller is really a model. This is a great tongue in cheek editorial, and while I can’t admit I’ve ever seen Zoolander, perhaps I’ll give it a chance now per your recommendation.

Ben is definitely full on Zoolander in this editorial and Penelope Cruz looks amazing as usual. I’m more of a Mugatu fan ;p
