It is my last full week in London so I thought I’d post a few highlights of fun and interesting things I’ve done in London.
This is from the Sackler Octagon at the Tate Britain (a small but comprehensive museum of art spanning a few centuries in Britain). It’s a beautiful space in the center with quotes painted on the walls, floor, and ceiling.
I liked: “It’s only just begun.” and “I still believe in miracles.”
Perhaps I am an optimist at heart. Or maybe I’m simply not a pessimist and refuse to succumb to feelings of dread and hopelessness even when I’m down We all have some times when we’re blue, but hope and perseverance are still ours. I can’t guarantee that my next adventures will be amazing but it’s just the beginning and I’m sure I’ll have fun.
sounds like a wonderfull place to sit down, chill out and just read quotes from the walls. That must be very inspirational. I tend to get carried away when reading quotes, i analize them over and over again tring to see if they reffer to my life (I think i would love it even more if there was a big bed i could lay down and read all quotes from the ceiling), thanks for sharing 🙂 i will definetley go there when next time in London. Lots of love, Veronica.
i love the terrace at the Tate!
I love those quotes too… I’m also a very positive person. And I do believe in miracles.
Have a great day! xoxo

You have a wonderful attitude! I could definitely take a few tips from you. What a lovely little place.

i agree – i am curious about the reverse one.
your next adventure will be just that; an adventure! to be excited about, hopeful, and surprised 🙂 i can’t wait to hear all about it!
xoxo
what a beautiful collection of sayings 🙂
I love it! I’m an optimist too. There’s too much pessimism in this world 🙂
Hope you had a great weekend! Enjoy your last full London week 🙂
I really like it. : )
i heart that! i’m kinda sorta pessimistic but i strive not to be by saying positive things like that.
so i guess i’m more optimistic now 🙂
It’s posts like this that make me realize I need a huge attitude adjustment. 🙂 I definitely could use more optimism in my life…
That look so cool. Mr B is the optimist out of the two of us. He keeps me in check!
I’ve visited the Tate, but it must be more than a decade ago. I very much feel like going on a London trip again soon.
I love the quotes on the wall, especially It’s only just begun. Reminds me of an old song – “We’ve only just begun” – by The Carpenters. Such a beautiful voice she had.
