I’ll admit it – I love Target collections. Ā Target knows how to keep their products and designs fresh. Ā They consistently design either interesting home and furniture pieces or release capsule collections with designers like Victoria Beckham. Ā So I’m definitely intrigued byĀ Opalhouse – Target’s global inspired home line whichĀ will be released April 8. Eclectic design lovers will love the diversity in this collection. Ā āOne of the things we found when we researched our guests was that 90 percent of themĀ say that they want to be able to mix-and-match different aestheticsāand one third of our guests like an eclectic style.ā Target’s chief merchandising officer, Mark Tritton, said in an exclusive interview with realsimple.com.
This collection definitely encompasses a number of different inspirations and styles. Ā Jewel toned velvet and brass chairs are sold alongside rustic chic rattan side tables. Ā I adore the accessories in this collection and suspect the round, bold colored pillows will be quite popular. Ā Target designers also created more original artwork and patterns for the wallpapers, bedding sets, and bathroom accessories. I like the mix of colors and textures here. Ā It’s great to have different and affordable options to refresh decor. I know I’ll definitely be adding those pillow to my home!

I love the colours and textures! It looks like a really fun range. It’s a shame Target here in Australia doesn’t have the same ranges as you get in the US!

I’ll have to wait to see this collection in person to see if I like it or not. The vibrant colors are appealing but some of the prints look a littel too busy for the we currently have going on in our home.
